School Visits/Lectures
Ambulance strongly supports the promotion of health education and safety to Australia’s youth. We can arrange for a paramedic to attend your school and give a brief overview of emergency education and safety awareness.
It is important to note that our paramedics undertake community event attendance in their own time and at their own cost. Unfortunately, sometimes we may not be able to fulfil your request but we will endeavour to provide other opportunities if this is the case.
To request an educational lecture or a visit by a paramedic to a school or childcare centre provide a written request to Ambulance Public Affairs including the following information:
- Time, date and location of the lecture/visit
- Subject title of the lecture/visit
- Number of participants
- Name and contact numbers of the group organiser.
Please note that Ambulance cannot process any requests unless they are received in writing.
