Sponsorship Opportunities

As a non-profit government organisation, we welcome your sponsorship to support the Ambulance Service of NSW. A sponsorship is a contribution in money or kind by an individual or organisation.

The importance of community education in supporting the delivery of pre-hospital emergency care is recognised worldwide and Ambulance has developed a range of community education projects, some of which require funding to enable implementation. Your contribution will assist us to develop and sustain important community programs and initiatives that could potentially save many lives.

Some of our community projects

Following are examples of two community projects that have been made possible by the generosity of members of the public:

Life... Live it Save it

Education is the key to decreasing the time between the onset of symptoms or incident and when the community member actually calls ‘000’ for an ambulance.

The “Life…Live it Save it!” community program has been developed to increase community knowledge regarding early recognition of life-threatening medical conditions, calling ‘000’ immediately and following life-saving treatment from Ambulance calltaker phone instruction. Roll out of the program has commenced.

Be an Ambulance Hero: Dial Zero Zero Zero

It is often the case that children are responsible for calling ‘000’ in the event that a parent or adult is unable to do so. They become solely responsible for directing the ambulance to the address and explaining the nature of the accident or illness to ‘000’ calltakers.

Children commonly find calling ‘000’ intimidating and are overwhelmed with the responsibility to take action in an emergency. The “Dial Zero Zero Zero” community program has been designed to help children in Kindergarten, Year 1 and Year 2 to overcome those barriers. Roll out of the program has commenced.

There are many more opportunities for you to sponsor an Ambulance community education program. Ambulance relies on the generosity of business and the general public to make them a reality. For further information on sponsorship opportunities with the Ambulance Service of NSW please contact:

There are many opportunities available to sponsor an Ambulance Service community education program. Ambulance has previously relied on the generosity of businesses and the general public to make two of it’s major community education programs a reality, the ‘Life .. Live it Save it Program’ and the ‘Be an Ambulance Hero Dial Zero Zero Zero’ program. Ambulance also appreciates the generous loan of a VW Caddy vehicle by Volkswagon Australia in June 2007 for use as a mobile education unit for children (pictured above).
