Thank a paramedic

Paramedics touch people's lives on a daily basis. The emergency care and support provided by paramedics in difficult and stressful situations often leaves a lasting impression on patients and their families.

The Ambulance Service is often contacted by members of the public wishing to personally thank the paramedics involved in providing treatment. To assist this process, letters of appreciation may be sent to the Ambulance Service State Headquarters by email generalenquiry@ambulance.nsw.gov.au or mail:

Ambulance Service of NSW
State Headquarters
Locked Bag 105
Rozelle NSW 2039

Letters are provided directly to paramedics, with a copy placed on their personal file. Feedback from the public is much appreciated by all paramedics.

If you would like to thank a paramedic please provide as much detail as possible regarding the incident, including the date, time and address of the incident, reason for emergency call and names of paramedics (if names are not known the Ambulance Service is able to identify the relevant officers using internal records).

Letters of appreciation are also published in the internal Ambulance staff newsletter, providing an avenue for recognition among peers.
