Paramedic Recruitment
The Ambulance Service of NSW, Australia's leading ambulance service, is currently recruiting:
- Trainee and qualified paramedics to join its emergency health care team.
- Qualified ambulance technicians and paramedics from the United Kingdom.
- Patient transport officers for non-emergeny patient transport.
If you are currently employed in the ambulance industry you can generally be employed at a similar clinical level and will be provided with clinical mentoring over 28 weeks. Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) recognises the qualifications and experience applicants would bring to Ambulance. As a Registered Training Organisation Ambulance can individually assess the qualifications, scope of practice and relevant experience of interstate and overseas applicants against those required by Ambulance.
Trainee and qualified paramedics are now recruited throughout the year. Applications are processed in batches at different stages throughout the year so you may apply at any time. The selection process for paramedics is highly competitive and can take up to eight months to complete.
